Gail Higgins Coochie Workshops
Gail Higgins will be presenting a 2 day workshop with the Coochie Art Group, at the Coochiemudlo Community Hall on Tuesday May 16 and May30. Gail will be tutoring us in detailed animal/birds in FreeFlow acrylics. She has sent us her materials list below and may be providing the Bristol Board cut to size, if she has the correct attendance numbers. Peoples’ Choice 2015
Congratulations to Gillian Rich, whose beautiful painting, “Maid in the Mist”, has just won the Peoples’ Choice Prize at the Coochie Art Group 42nd Annual Show, held at the Redlands Performing Arts Centre in Cleveland.

2015 Annual Show – Official Opening
Our 2015 Show was opened last night by Cr Paul Bishop. This year’s judge, Dr Christine Kirkegard, talked about the high standard of winning entries, and the criteria she used to choose them.
The evening was the usual warm, friendly occasion, and guests enjoyed the exhibited work with music and refreshments.
Our Annual Art Show
The show is coming together for its official opening tomorrow night! All the usual suspects have work exhibited and for sale at this popular annual event. 
Change of Art Sale Venue
Coochie Art Group’s art sale in Cleveland is now continuing in a new venue. The art sale is in Harbourside Shopping Centre, Cleveland, between the Post Office and Malouf’s Chemist, in Middle Street, the former Subway shop. There are framed and unframed originals, in different media, for sale, as well as hand-painted cards and the famous Coochie Group Recipe book. The prices are very reasonable and the welcome is warm!
